What to do in Tokyo 4 days by myself?

Hi everybody!

next monday 15th I will be in Tokyo alone until friday. It's my third time in Tokyo and I'd like to do something special by myself, apart from sightseeing, since I've visited Tokyo twice before...

any suggestions will be appreciated

I would recommend getting the hell out of Tokyo. we are just beginning our annual heat wave, and it is unbearable. Besides, Tokyo is amazing, but kind of unfulfilling as far as sightseeing goes (especially if you've been here before!)
I would recommend go climb Mt.Fuji. I am set to go up on 7/18th. Im sure you know, it was just recently joined the UNESCO world heritage site, and for good reason! Its an amazing mountain and to climb it for the sunrise is unimaginable, transformative experience. There is plenty of info out there on the web, but it is highly recommended.
You can climb with our group if you are interested! Let me know. I can also show you around Tokyo if you MUST sightsee Tokyo.

If you've never been to Tokyo...

- Go around Shibuya in the evening
- Go around Harajuku on a Sunday afternoon
- See the Meiji shrine
- Go up Tokyo Tower and/or Tokyo Skytree on an early evening
- Tokyo Disneyland or Disneysea
- Go around Odaiba
- Go around Ginza
- Go see the Asakusa temples

thanks you all guys. About the night trip to the onsen it would be great, but I have the hotel paid in Tokyo, so I'm afraid I can't move from there.

about Mt. Fuji, sounds great, the week after my wife comes over so we can join you!

It could be considered sightseeing (not sure what's wrong with that) but it could also be considered simply a large number of fun and interesting things to do.

If this appeals to you, look for the deal where you get two one-day metro passes thrown in for a few hundred yen more. I don't have a link for that and am not sure there is one in English.

That pass sounds nice!! Is it some kind of flat-fare for all museums in Tokyo??
