JR East Pass

I have looked at the new JR East Pass routes, but I'm not very sure if the following are covered by the JR East Pass:
- Shinjuku to Matsumoto
- Matsumoto to Nakatsugawa and Nagiso to Matsumoto (for visit from Magome to Tsumago)
- Matsumoto to Karuizawa
- Takayama to Toyama
- Karuizawa to Shinjuku
Would someone be able to advise? Thanks.

Shinjuku to Matsumoto
YES
Matsumoto to Nakatsugawa and Nagiso to Matsumoto
NOT valid between Shiojiri and Nakatsugawa.
Matsumoto to Karuizawa
YES, if you use JR trains.
- Takayama to Toyama
NO, completely outside the JR East Pass area.
- Karuizawa to Shinjuku
YES
