transport to tsukiji fish market 2013/9/3 09:55
As a first timer in tokyo on my own, I am confused with too many lines in tokyo.
Can you help me?
What is the easiest way to go to tsukiji market from nippori station?

thanks

JR Keihin Tohoku Line to JR Shimbashi, then 10-15min walk.

There is no easy way from Nippori to Tsukiji.
From JR Nippori Station to JR Shinbashi Station by Yamanote Line, then move to the platform of Toei Asakusa line(subway) at the same station, then go to Daimon Station by Toei Asakusa line, then move to the platform of Toei Oedo line(subway) at the same station, then go to Tsukiji-shijo Station by Toei Oedo line. There you can smell of fish(out side of the station).

[Nippori - Shinbashi - Daimon - Tsukijishijo]

It costs you 330 YEN and 29 mins.

I vote for Yamanote Line to Shimbashi and walk. It's not that far, 10-12 minutes.

Yes, Suica can be used on virtually all trains and buses in Tokyo.

From Nippori station, what time do you think I should leave the hotel?
What time does the retail and food section open for public.
Sushi is highly recommended in tsukiji. Which one should I go for?

I would take Yamanote to Ueno, then Hibiya Line to Tsukiji.

If I buy the one day or two day pass at the airport,
can I use this to tsukiji
actually with the one day or two day pass, what type of transport can I use for?
At Nippori station there is the nippori toner liner (shin kotsu). can I use the pass or need to buy a different ticket
