Shin-Hotaka ropeway vs Kamikochi in November

We're going from Tokyo to Takayama around 12 - 14 November and considering between Shin-Hotaka ropeway & Kamikochi on our way to Takayama.
Unfortunately we're pressed on time, so we can only go to either of the two. My question is, is Kamikochi worth visiting approaching mid-November? I get the impression that Shin-Hotaka will still be beautiful regardless the time of the year.
Any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Shin-Hotaka autumn color peak overed.
(autumn color peak around Oct20 and 10days)
Kamikochi closed Nov 15 by deep snow season start.
