firework at Lake Toya

Are there any place I can watch the firework at Toya Lake without stay overnight?
Perhaps only dinner or just watching the firework without paying anything.

You can view the fireworks at the lakeside, there is some outdoor seating there.

If you have a car - you just need to park near the main street. It would be impossible to get to Lake Toya at night from the train station via public transport. It's also quite expensive (2000 Yen one way) to catch a Taxi. However - I will say that the fireworks were quite disappointing if it's the one which happens every night for a couple of months. Unless you don't see fireworks often - I would give it a miss....
