Seating in boats for Hozu River ride

Because I have arthritis in my knees, I am wondering if I'll be able to sit comfortably during the 2 hour boat ride. Is the seating directly on the bottom of the boat and not on a raised platform so one's knees are bent at right angles? Any information is appreciated

You'll be seated on a bench unless you go during the winter months when a different boat is used.
