24-hour cafe near Kyoto Station or KIX

Hello all,
I'll have time to kill between buses around 6:30am to 10:00am at Kyoto Station on a Sunday in December. I'll have a large suitcase with me and have been to Kyoto Station and the rest of Kyoto many times, so I don't want to go exploring--I just want a good place to rest!
In my experience a lot of cafes don't open until 10am or so. Does anyone know of a place within or very close to the station that would be open in the early morning hours? A chain restaurant would be fine.
Alternatively, I could take an earlier bus to Kansai International Airport. Do they have better options there for places to kill time?
