Koyasan World Heritage Ticket

I understand that we will be able to buy the World Heritage ticket directly at Kansai Airport. However, it seems that the journey covered by the ticket only starts at Namba station? So does this mean I will need to travel from the airport to Namba via JR (I will also get the Japan Rail Pass), and then from Namba I will only be able to use this ticket? Does the ticket cover directly from airport to Koyasan?
Thank you very much.

thanks for response.
Yes, I will be going directly from Kansai Airport. So I understand the ticket only covers the journey from Namba and not Kansai. But if I were to take the Nankai lines from KIX, I will need to pay additional fare?

this ticket is a ROUND ticket. What is the next destination from Koyasan. Round ticket is a ticket gtfrom and toh the origin. ie it is FROM Nankai Namba TO Koyasan; then back FROM Koyasan TO Nankai Namba.
SO if you start at Nankai Namba you can take the trains back to anywhere along the route back to Nankai Namba BUT if you get off BEFORE Nankai Namba, say, for example, Kawachi Nagano, you cannot then use the ticket to get from KawachiNagano to Nankai Namba
Follow the links posted above: fully explained.

You might consider getting a two day Kansai Trhu Pass instead of a world heritage pass: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2357_005.htmlThe Pass covers the Nankai Train to Namba, AND the Nankai train and cablecar to Koyasan. It is about 1000 yen more than the World heritage ticket, and the Nankai train from KIX to Namba is only 890 yen, so this might seem like a negative. The payoff is when you come back from Koyasan. You will have more train options to relocate for the following day. If, for instance, you plan to go to Kyoto after leaving Koyasan, you can use the pass to get there. I personally think that unless your flight arrives at KIX early in the morning, that you are shorting your time at Koyasan. I would rather go to Namba after ariving at KIX, and jet lag out for a night. you could eat in Hozenji Yokocho Alley, and perhaps walk around Dotonbori Canal or Den Den Town, before going up to Koyasan. I hope this gives you more options.
