Long 1-Day Pass @ Zao Onsen

I plan to go to Zao Onsen this February and thinking of some skiing. I just wonder that if I purchase a Long 1-Day Pass which costs about 5,500 Yen, can I use this pass to access Zao Ropeway to go to Jizosancho Station in order to view the ice monster during both day and night too? The website says nighter is included in this pass.
However, If I have to purchase another round trip ticket to go to Jizosancho Station, I think I will skip the skiing becuase I am a newbie.
