JR Pass Exchange at Fukuoka airport ?

Hi,

Can I exchange JR Railpass Voucher to be JR Pass at Fukuoka airport or have to do that at JR Hakata station ?

It cannot be exchanged at the airport, because the airport is not served by JR. The closest JR station and pass exchange location is Hakata Station, a short subway ride away.

That is, 2 subway stations (about a 5 minute ride). Go upstairs and the JR office is nearby.
You'll need to show your passport. But it doesn't have to start on the day you go to the office.
It's a common misconception that any JR station can do it.
Fukuoka is a nice city to visit and you can also get a Fukuoka City Tourist Pass for buses and subways for a day. See:
