Hi all, I'm really interested to view seto ohashi bridge from washuzan at night. After searching on the internet I found out that to access those area I will need to ride shimoden bus from Kojima Sta. When searching for the bus schedule in this page http://www.shimoden.net/rosen/index.html (with the help of google translate of course!) I stumbled the part that saying the route is paused from 1 Nov 2013, is this correct? If yes, is there any alternative? (other than taxi) I have a look at the bus schedule http://www.shimoden.net/rosen/info/20131101-washuzan/timetable2.pdf and it seems the last bus is 18.20. That means I have to stay in washuzan if I want to see the bridge at night? Is there any recommendation for a place to stay? I'm a budget traveler so I cannot really afford expensive hotels (3000-4000\/person/night max) Thanks!

It appears that there was a "Washuzan Line" that was discontinued, but this line still goes to the Washuzan Lookout: http://www.shimoden.net/rosen/rosen/tokohai.htmlAlso there is an evening bus that goes to the Washuzan lookout for those who want to see the bridge lit up after dark.

Thanks for your answer.
Does that mean there are other bus than Shimoden that going around the washuzan hill?
Do you know the name of the bus?
I read somewhere that the bridge only lit up on Saturday. Is this correct?
Thanks!

The bridge is lit up on Saturdays and usually on public holidays too.
