we are 6 persons from Brazil (including 2 old people) and we would like to know the best way to go from Takayama to Nagano in shorter time. Would be possible to go by bus or train straight or it would be convenient to rent a car with driver? tks

take the Nouhi bus from Takayama to Matsumoto, then the train from Matsumoto to Nagano.
