Tateyama Alpine route on the opening day 2014

I'm planning to go to tateyama alpine route from omachi-onsenkyo to kanazawa on the opening day of ( 16/4 ).
I've found some info about the situation on the opening day of the past years about how crowded it was. Most says the same that it's quite busy. But they generally spoke of Toyama side.
Is it the same for the Ogizawa side?
anybody please help?

Yes, it is likely to be busy in both directions, especially if the weather happens to be good on that day.
