Cherry blossom in Chureito Pagoda

Hello. This year I will be in Japan on the 24 And 25 of April and once again I'll try to go to Chureito Pagoda to see the cherry blossom and I hope this time will be the right time, since it's already 3 years that I miss it!
Do you think that on that date I will see the full boom? Or is it better to change the days ?
Also I will return in Japan the first week of May And then I will go to Hirosaki. Also there will be ok for cherry blosdom?

When I went to Hirosaki in early May, there were almost not cherry blossoms left, but that was because a typhoon hit the region shortly before: http://zoomingjapan.com/travel/hirosaki-castle-park/

It's really hard to tell, because you NEVER know what happens.
