Going to Hokhaido end April beginning May

I would like to take 5 or 6 days in Hokahido end of April and early May. Plan to visit Ortaru-Biei, Furano and Sapporo. Just wander if the weather is not to bad and also if i can visit Daisetsuzan park at that time of the year

Are you sure you want to go during that time? I am also thinking about going Hokkaido around that time but my friends told me not to due to Golden Week holiday
