nanzenji to ginkakuji 2014/3/9 18:31
I gather it is easier to travel by bus or subway to Nanzenji. It seems reasonable access to ginkakuji is via walking from the philosopher's path or by bus w/c some people have said is quite slow (?)
My question is: is the walk from Nanzenji to Ginkakuji on "flat land" or is it uphill?

Also I have read references to Honen in sand art, but this must be a small temple(?) b/c I can't find a stand alone reference to this site and it doesnt appear in most maps.

it's flat.. I did both way from ginkakuji to nanzenji and vice versa, didn't feel any difference either way.

Honen-In is displayed on this map. It's a nice little temple.
