Getting from Kikonai to Matsumae

I am interested in visiting Matsumae during my next visit to Japan in May. I'd like to take the train from Hakodate to Kikonai and then the bus to Matsumae but if it is too inconvenient I will consider renting a car for the day.

about the bus timetable from Kikonai to Matsumae and back.

Does anyone know if these times are still valid?

Does anyone have a link to bus schedule for this trip?

Any help for getting to Matsumae and back to Kikonai is greately appreciated.

Because it is scheduled to the section from Kikonai to Esashi is abolished on May 12, it is a part of the JR Esashi Line, there may be some changes to the timetable of train and bus.
