Going from April 4-17 will I miss sakura?

Will I miss the sakura during that time? I will be in tokyo from 4-7 Osaka from 7-10 and Kyoto from 10-13...

I hope I won't miss them...

It is a little late for Kyoto, but unless there is some major storm that takes the blossoms down prematurely, you should be able to enjoy them in Tokyo and Osaka.

Osaka is just now blossoming, 4th should be no problem... Kyoto, i hear, are already in bloom

The common cherry blossom varieties are already in full bloom now but there are late blooming varieties that you can enjoy for the rest of April. On a trip to Tokyo in early May a couple of years ago, we even got to spot some really really late blooming varieties.
