The only mention of "types" is under the 5th item in their list (where the fee is 8,000 yen) for "HIV NAT check-up type 1" and the one below "type 2" (12,000 yen). The quick test in 15 minutes has a sample of its certificate, and there is no mention of types there.

Kono kensa de wakaru no wa, HIV-1gata dake desu ka, soretomo, HIV-1gata to 2gata no ryouhou ni taiou shite imasu ka. Oshiete kudasai.
Yoroshiku onegai shimasu.

(First time writing to you.
I am considering the rapid HIV test in 15 minutes.
Does this check-up give results for HIV-1 type only, or does it cover both HIV-1 type and 2 type? Please let me know.
Thank you in advance.)

It's actually if you want to examine HIV, the most health centers(Hokenjo) in your district provide "free" HIV tests.
You need to make an advanced appointment first.
and also. the most health centers provide "free" chlamydia tests at the same time as you examine HIV tests.
You have physical address in Tokyo?

Unless you've been to Africa it makes little sense to spend extra to test for HIV2.
Also, why do you need a rapid test? The slower tests are cheaper and more accurate.

i was not in Africa, i had unprotected sex in japan with Japanese woman.
I dont know if HIV2 is present in Japan or not and I dont know if this woman had sex before with african people or maybe was in africa before...
so i woul like to be sure for HIV2 too.

Do you think HIV2 is not present in japan?

I see rapid test is very popular in japan, and since im very afraid to wait long time to get result, im thinking about rapid test.

i see that in many place the rapid test used is "Alere Determine" test and it seems to be reliabily test....

great thanks for your support

HIV2 would be incredibly unlikely so if you need to spend extra for it I would not bother. Also you should look up for free tests.

Remember to take the test after at least 3 months after encounter.

it is very unlikely you contracted HIV, take the test but stop worrying about it.

HIV is very very rare in Japan - though if your partner has slept with people from southeast Asia or Africa the danger of course is higher.

Far more likely though is to contract a typical STD like chlamydia. I've heard that something like 1/4 sexually active high school students in Japan has untreated chlamydia, I can only guess that the rate is similar for university students and other young adults.

You might want to get tested for everything else while you're at it.
