Day tour to either Osaka or Kyoto?

We are now in shinjuku. We have the whole day tomorrow for a day tour. Just want to ask your suggestion on what place is better to visit, we are planning to visit either Osaka or Kyoto. We have our 8yr old daughter with us. We already visited Disneyland for a couple of days already. Thanks.
