Fuji Shibazakura festival

Hello all,

I am looking to visit the Fuji Shibazakura festival while in transit between Tokyo and Osaka. I am hoping to:

- train travel Tokyo - Kawaguchiko
- bus to festival site
- enjoy flowers
- bus to Shinfuji station
- train Shinfuji - Osaka.

I've accessed the festival information (http://www.shibazakura.jp/eng/access/index.html) and while it mentions bus transfer from Kawaguchico, I'm not sure if a bus exist to transfer from the festival to Shinfuji station.

Can anyone offer advice? Many thanks.

It is possible ride if there is a vacant seat.

If you plan to go to Shin-fuji from there on weekdays, it is recommended that you get on the bus to leave there in 14:10. The Reservations are required in order to get on the next bus, if there is no vacancy, because you will not be able to go to Shin-fuji by bus.
