Sagano scenic train

Travelling on 18th may2014 from Nagoya to Kyoto . Want to join the scenic train ride. Plan to take the jr sagano line from Kyoto to umahori and then the scenic ride from torokko kameoka to torokko saga.
Is the route fom torokko saga to torokko kameoka enjoying the same scenery? Pls advise . If it is complete different route then we might take the return train ride from torokko saga.
Is it possible to get train ticket from torokko kameoka to torokko saga?

Yes. Same tracks. Same route. The train is just running in the opposite direction.
