Tea farm 2014/5/8 23:49
I'd like to take pictures of a tea farm with Mt. Fuji view like the one I saw on the page Fujigoko TV Live camera where they put a map also but I cannot understand exactly where it is. Could you help me please? Thank you very much!

I also feel that blogs rpcman wrote above is a good landscape.

Maybe, I guess the tea farm you have a question that's around the following.
Its location is Obuchi, Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture.

Obuchi Sasaba known as the shooting location of Mount Fuji is located further north than that of the above.

Thank you so much. I have one more question : if I take a taxi from Fuji Station, it's about 30 minutes drive , and ask to wait for me to come back to Fuji Station, will I pay also for waiting time? How much will be, do you know?

For taxi wait fare of Fuji City, take 80 yen every 90 seconds in the use of mid-size car, every 110 second in the use of small cars.

I do not know the exact location of the tea farm. It is recommended that to get to know as much detail as possible about the location of there. I guess because there are a lot of tea plantations similar to Fuji City, only showed the photos to taxi driver, that you go to there is difficult.

The taxi fare to Obuchi are as follows roughly.

I think the weather on the day of your trip is an important problem. It is recommended that for the case there is no hope of fine weather, it should be available other options.
I hope to be a good weather.

Re: Tea farm 2014/5/13 22:49
Hello again! I calculated with Google map that I can walk 5,8 Km from Iriyamase station to reach Obuchi Sasaba tea farm. So, as I'm a good walker (last year I succeeded in climbing Mt. Fuji!) , maybe I can catch a train from Fuji station to Iriyamase station and then walk 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach my destination and come back. What do you think about?

I've never been to the city, it is not possible to ensure your plan. If you are a good walker, you'll be able to achieve it.
If the purpose of your trip is to shoot better photos, you need to increase the time to stay in tea farm.
There is an option to take a bus for the section in the middle. It will depart from Fuji Station North Exit No.3 bus stop. The bus Hihina'‘]”ä“Þ' bound for departure to 9:20,11:45 every day. On weekdays, it is also 7:50,14:45,15:55 departure. Travel time to Hihina from Fuji Station is about 35 minutes.

Hihina bound bus is also operated from near Gakunan train Yoshiwara Honcho Station and JR Fujinomiya Station. If you think you want to consider the options you get on the bus, then I will append information about it.

Sorry for the confusing is my English. I think it's not a bad idea for what you have to walk there from Iriyamase station. It's up to your ideas. I wanted to tell you that there is a means for you to take a bus from JR Fuji station.

I would like you to see for your plan is the table at the top of the timetable. If you are able to ride the bus that is written on it, go to the bus stop Hihina '‘]”ä“Þ' from Fuji Station '•xŽm‰w', you will be able to reach your destination more quickly. I guess it takes about 30 minutes on foot to the area, located in the tea farm from Hihina.
