Direct bus from Utoro to Sapporo

Hi Everybody,
On the LP "Hiking in Japan" guidebook I read that there are a couple of daily direct long distance buses from Utoro to Sapporo on the Eagle Liner. It has been a while since they edited that guide, and I would deeply appreciate if anybody could confirm that these buses do operate (and their time schedule, if possible).
