Hello!
I will be spending the next 6 months working in Japan. Like most companies, I will have a week off in the beginning of January to celebrate the new year.
Now, one of my relatives wanted to visit me during that time and in order to plan our days I wanted to ask whether or not we would be able to visit shops and such.
I know everything is closed on January 1st, but is that the only day or is everything closed for the rest of that week?
