Farmhouse stay at Shirakawa-go

I've just got a reply back from Japanese guest house saying that they won't make a reservation for single guest anymore in the Shirakawa-go village. So what am I supposed to do to be able to stay at the farmhouse ? Or is there any farmhouse nearby that welcome single guest. Please help me out. Thank you so much

Try sending a mail to the Shirakawa-go tourist association, info-e@shirakawa-go.gr.jp (they speak English). They helped arrange accommodation for me next month (and I am a single guest as well); all the places Japanese Guest Houses contacted were fully booked but the tourist association still managed to find me a place to stay.

Thank you once again Rutger. I'll try to do that.
