The best place to visit in Hokkaido on sept

Hi!

I will go to Hokkaido for 2days. Can you help me, which one better place that I should go between daisetsuzan NP (from asahidake onsen) or unkai terrace on tomamu? Can I see autumn on mid september in hokkaido?

If autumn foliage is what you are after, go for the Daisetsuzan National Park. Although mid Sept is a bit early for koyo in Sounkyo itself, the place is ideal for a side trip to beautiful Ginsendai and Daisetsu Kogen Onsen where in average years mid to late Sept is the right time for autumn colour. During that period there is shuttle service to these 2 places from Sounkyo.
