Hi it is possible to visit mount omuro at Izu in dec as I don't see anything mentioned in japan-guide. Has anyone been there, is it worth to go there? How to travel there from Tokyo? Thanks

Yes, it can be visited at any time of the year unless weather conditions are extreme. The mountain can be accessed in a bus ride from Ito or Izu Kogen Station.

Has anyone been there, is it worth to go there?
We visited Mount Omuro 2 years ago as part of the IZU 2 days visit itinerary.
If you are going to visit Mount Omuro only all the way from Tokyo, then I would say not worth it.
