Shipment From Japan Stuck at Same Step

I have ordered an item from Amazon and it was shipped via EMS from Japan. The status is currently at Dispatch From Outward Office of Exchange and has been like this for 4 days. The USPS tracking for it has also been at Processed Through Sort Facility (TOKYO INT D, Japan) for 4 days. I'm wondering if this is accurate or if it just isn't updating when it is going through steps?

It might be at US customs for inspection right now. Status usually does not get updated again until the item leaves US Customs.
