Transportation 2014/8/25 17:30
Hi, I am traveling to Japan with my husband and 2 sons on 1 Oct for 2 weeks, We would like to visit the Disneyland and theme Universal Studio. But I am not familiar with the transport system. How do i get from the airport to the hotel and within Tokyo. Plus how to travel from Tokyo to Osaka on the bullet train? Is there a transport package I can purchase as a tourist to be able to use the local train system and bullet train? Is the cost of bullet train one way or includes return?

Hi!
Ifm yui.
I also have two kids same as you.
And I eve been to Tokyo Disney Resort.
Of course it was fun!
You can ride on the bus from airport to somewhere you will stay or you want to go.
For ensample, Narita airport to Tokyo Disney Resort cost \2,450(Adult Single) , \1,230 (Child Single)
You can get the site more information!

And you can get on Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka.
You can get informations in the site.

Have you confirmed that you cannot choose Kansai International Airport [KIX] in Osaka Prefecture?
What else in Kansai Region would you visit besides USJ? Would you skip Kyoto Prefecture with many popular spots?

how to travel from Tokyo to Osaka on the bullet train?

Please note that Shinkansen super-express trains run not via Osaka Station.
The Shinkansen terminal in Osaka City is Shin-Osaka Station.
In Tokyo Metropolis, you can choose a station on Tokaido Shinkansen (connecting Tokyo and Shin-Osaka) among Tokyo Station and Shinagawa Station.
Tokaido Shinkansen is operated by JR-Central, one of the six JR passenger railway companies.

But I am not familiar with the transport system.

Even among Japanese travelers are those who are not familiar with transport systems in Japan.
Signs in English language are found here and there on Shinkansen lines and also in major railroad stations and (non-Shinkansen) trains connecting them in urbanized areas.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel and within Tokyo.

You have not yet given information which is essential to answer this question....

Which airport(s) would you fly into and fly out from? : Narita International Airport [NRT] or Tokyo International Airport [HND, Haneda Airport]?

In which area in is your Tokyo / Osaka hotel located? Have you checked railroad stations which are close to the hotel?

I am traveling to Japan with my husband and 2 sons on 1 Oct for 2 weeks,
We would like to visit the Disneyland.

The 13th of October 2014 will be a national holiday in Japan.
Considering possible crowdedness, I suppose it may be better to visit a Tokyo Disney park on a normal weekday.
(Two Disney parks are in TDR: Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.)

If one or both of the boys are little, you may hope to stay in Tokyo Disney Resort.
A guest of any of the three Disney Hotels + the six Tokyo Disney Resort Official Hotels, if he/she holds a valid Tokyo Disney park ticket, can be guaranteed admission to the Disney park when the entry is restricted due to crowdedness. And, the guest can purchase a Tokyo Disney park ticket at the hotel.
In the following webpages, the former benefit is explained as Guaranteed Park Admission, and the latter benefit is explained as Obtain Park Tickets at the Hotel.
