i am a foreigner who like to visit osaka (touch down at KIX airport), kyoto, nara (day trip from osaka), kobe (day trip from osaka), mt koya (2D 1N trip from Osaka), kinosaki (2D1N trip from osaka) and arashiyama( day trip from kyoto) on 1/11-7/11/14. It is worth it to buy a 2 days kansai thru pass + 4 days kansai wide area pass + koyasan world heritage ticket?
My purpose to buy the wide area pass is to cover the travel between osaka to kinosaki. What do u all think?

Hi
I'm planning to do a similar trip too in January.
It depend on each day where you are staying and going.
I think you should just use ICOCA for the 2 days instead of the 2 day Kansai pass.
one way cost Osaka-Sagaarashiyama 970
one way cost Osaka-Nara 800
one way cost Osaka-Kyoto 560
one way cost Osaka-Kobe 410
all those journey are under 2000 yen return, and it does not include bus and metro.
If possible squeeze Airport trip, Nara and Kinosaki in 4 day on the JR West Kansai Wide Pass.
