Nikko Itinerary 2014/9/7 19:32
Hi,
Family of 4 arriving tokyo on Oct 26, staying in Nihombashi area.
We plan to overnight in Nikko on Oct 27-28, using the Kinugawa pass to visit both theme parks as well as Nikko World Heritage area.

1. OCt 26 upon arrival, buy kinugawa pass at keisei line counter in narita airport? reserve the train seats? do they take seat reservation? Will the timing be too tight? otherwise whats the english website to book in?

2. Booked at Kinugawa Onsentaki 155-1
Nikko, 321-2526
Japan

our target schedule

11 am train eta 1249
go to Edo nikko wonderland before 2pm
go to kinugawa onsen area after dinner say 7pm ( where to eat dinner, where to leave bags)
overnight in hotel ootaki

day 2
visit tobu world square - 2 hours enough?
go to nikko world heritage site
how to go to lake chuzenji and see waterfall elevator
return to nikko to take train back to asakusa 628pm

My questions/ concerns?
Buy tickets at airport or online? what website
Is my itinerary doable?
WHich buses to take in between?
Where to have dinner after Edo Wonderland before going to Kinugawa onsen?

Thanks for your help, first time ever to Japan.

You can get Kinugawa Pass at TIC TOKYO near Nihonbashi Station. Check the following website;
http://www.tictokyo.jp
http://www.tobu.co.jp//foreign/index.html
On 27: after the EDO Wonderland, you go to Kinugawa station, that has coin-operated lockers for your belongings.Around the station, there are some restaurants for dinner.
On 28: It's very difficult to go to lake Chuzenji and Kegon waterfall after the shrines and temples. You need more than two hours to walk around the World Heritage Site.
Have a good time in Nikko!
