Airport transportation in Sendai

Since there is no airport limo bus service to/from Sendai airport to Toyoko Inn at Sendai Station, is taxi the only option? What is the approximate taxi fare from Sendai airport to Sendai station? We are traveling with two suitcases plus handcarry per person and felt train would be difficult to navigate. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also, can we use the Hayabusa shinkansen traveling in the Tohoku area using JR East pass?

I took the line from Toyoko Inn Sendai Eki #1 to Sendai Airport for my flight to Itami. There is an airport access line.

To add, since the train is going to the airport specifically, the provision for suitcase space is accounted for. Not too many people use Sendai Airport, since JR Sendai is quite large and very connected.

I have never used the JREast pass, so I cannot answer that for you.

Yes, the JR East Pass (as well as the nationwide JR Pass) is valid on Hayabusa trains.
