Which Kannai Station - Yokohama

I noticed on the google map that their are two Kannai Stations located in the same area. One looks like it is part of the blue subway line and the other looks like it is part of JR station. When I look at the detail, both stations say they have access to each other. If I want to take the subway blue line can I use either station. I am coming off a cruise at the Osanbashi pier and want to go to Kyoto.

Kannai Station The two are connected. In the underground mall Marinado via. On the right hand side of the north exit of JR ticket Kannai Station, there is an entrance to the underground city Marinado. Or, where there is a mark, such as the Y in the Google map is the location of the Kannai Subway Station. Towards the subway, is convenient to go to Shin-Yokohama Station. Transfer is not required. In the case of JR, you need to transfer at Yokohama line Higashikanagawa Station. Sometimes, there is also a direct train. (Train of yellow-green)

From Kannai to Kyoto http://goo.gl/qAh2tEYou can take either Subway blue line or JR KeihinTohoku/Negishi line then Yokohama line to JR Shin-Yokohama where you can catch Shinkansen for Kyoto. As shown in the results of hyperdia, the subway route requires one transfer while JR route requires two transfers. http://goo.gl/kLzGqq
