It's a little too early to reliably see snow anywhere near Osaka. How far are you willing to travel?

Hi, thanks for the reply. Our hotel is in Osaka and will be in Tokyo on 2nd to 4th Nov then back to Osaka 'till 8th Nov. We plan to spend our 1 day to find a snow. Do you know which place we can go (the nearest) and how to go there?

If manmade snow is ok, then you could go to Yeti Ski Resort on Mt. Fuji or Karuizawa Prince in Nagano.

Otherwise you'll have to go to the high mountains, such as Daisetsuzan in Hokkaido, which would be difficult to do in a daytrip.

How about to view snow at top of Mt Fuji from Hakone or Lake Kawaguchi?
You may see it.

Of course, you can see Mt Fuji from other places near Tokyo.

Thank you so much for the detailed info. Appreciate it.

Real snow is better to see, but not too sure if we can travel that far though.. :-(

Any place in Tokyo, we can view Mt. Fuji from a far instead?
