Kyoto Subway Pass 2014/10/6 01:50
HI, I need to know if there's any day passes for subway only in kyoto?
Will it be able to use on the keihan & JR subway?
How much will it cost?

Yup there is a Kyoto Subway Pass, its 600 yen per day.

Nope you wont be able to use the Keihan Line or JR Line

One Option is to use the Kansai Thru Pass, it covers the subway line in Kyoto, Keihan Line , buses, all other train lines in Kyoto except JR... Its 4000 yen for 2 days or 5200 yen for 3 days

How about the discount 1 day for bus and subway ticket @1200 yen?
Does this cover JR & keihan line too? Or just kyoto municipal line?

Just the two subway lines and the buses.

If u need to use Keihan, u can buy the Keihan Day Pass, its 750 Yen per day.

JR Pass is expensive.

Where are you planning to go?

I plan to go Nishiki market in the morning.
Then afternoon to Arashiyama.
In between I need to check out from a hotel near kyoto station and check in to a hotel at Kiyomizu Gojo Station. kinda messed up itinerary haha.

Maybe you can check out early in the morning and store your luggage with the Hotel (its usually free)

After going to Nikishi, you can take the Hankyu line to Arashiyama (from the Karasuma station)

To go back to Kyoto Station, take both the Hankyu and subway line.

Finally to Kiyomizu, you can take the bus/ subway plus bus.

The kyoto sightseeing pass plus hankyu day pass would be a nice fit.

Or the kansai thru pass if u still want to use the Hanshin Line

Thanks guys for the reply. I guess I cant save much but to just buy the single ticket each time for that day.
-will take hankyu train to arashiyama
-then back by JR train and later Keihan train to Kiyomizu station.
3 different trains=)
