I searched in Tokyo (Isetan, and other grocery stores, Don Quojite, Pharmacy) Osaka and Hiroshima and the dept store by Sanrioland. I even went to the Hokkaido satelite shop in Ginza and this noodle was elusive. It was impossible to find.
We found one ramen from Hokkaido that had a bear on it. Does anyone know if the ramen I was looking for is available in any supermarket in Tokyo I plan on returning to Japan in the summer.

I could not find it. Would someone that reads Japanese be able to send them an email to ask?
I live in Toronto and we have a big asian and japanese population but no noodle. Why is this noodle so hard to find?

http://amazon.co.jp sells lots of different types of ramen, but this time the English language version would only take me to books when searching on Sapporo Ramen (or Ramen Sapporo). Under the book links were pictures of the different types of ramen sold by amazon, but my language skills failed me, and I could never be sure exactly what type was available. Searching in food and beverage for Sapporo ramen would still only take me to the books section. The expanded directory in English has a rice & noodle section, but I still couldn't find anything specific to Sapporo style. Sapporo ramen is heavy on miso, so perhaps searching on miso ramen would bring up any specific Sapporo vareties. If you just want to eat Sapporo Ramen in Tokyo, doing a google search provides lots of information in that. I didn't try to do a more specific search about buying packages of noodles, so you can try Google to see what you get.
