To go to Ryuzu falls, you will need to take a bus from Tobu-Nikko station. The 2-day pass covers only the buses in central Nikko (the shrines etc) and will not cover Ryuzu. Whereas the 4-day All Nikko pass covers all the major bus routes in central Nikko as well as outskirts like Ryuzu, Senjogahara,Chuzenji etc.
Even if you use the 2-day pass in conjunction with a round trip bus ticket,it turns out to be more expensive than the 4-day pass.
In short, if you plan to step out of central Nikko, the All Nikko pass wins, even for a day trip.
