Mount Aso Ropeway March 2015

I'm aware that Mount Aso Ropeway is currently closed until further notice due to the rising possibility of a volcanic eruption.
I am planning to go to the Kyushu area towards the end of March 2015 to hopefully catch the cherry blossom viewing and was wondering if the Ropeway will be open by then.
Any possible information will be much appreciated. Thanks!
