Which kansai travel pass to use?

Hi, we will be travelling around Kansai for 17 days. Are there any travel pass which we can utilize to reduce our transportation costs? And do we have to get it before coming to Japan?

Day 1: Kansai Airport to Osaka City (night only)
- Our hotel is near Osakauehonmachi Station, any travel pass?

Day 2: Osaka City
Day 3: Universal Studios
- 2 days in Osaka, any travel pass? Or only one day travelling within the city since Day 3 will be in Universal Studios.

Day 4: Osaka to Kyoto (4 nights)
- 4 days in Kyoto, any travel pass?

Day 8: Kyoto to Hiroshima (1 night)
Day 9: Hiroshima to Yonago (2 nights)
Day 11: Yonago to Tottori Dunes (1 night)
Day 12: Tottori to Kinosaki Onsen (1 night)
- Any travel pass for this 4 days? Kansai wide pass does not seem to cover this region which Sanyo pass cover up till Hiroshima only and is for 4 days.

Day 13: Kinosaki to Kobe
Day 14: Kobe to Himeji Castle to Aioi or Murotsu (Tatsuno) to Kobe
Day 15: Kobe to Osaka
Day 16: Osaka to Kyoto (day trip)
- 4 day Kansai wide pass?

Day 17: Osaka

Odd question - but what time will you be visiting as buying an 18 Free Kippu could really reduce your costs. If you use local trains, then you can travel for something like 2-3000 yen a day and they are transferrable and can be used on different days (not days in a row like JR Passes)

Day 8 use a 7 day JR Pass

If i don't get any pass, can I use ICOCA card to travel on any trains in Hiroshima/Yonago/Tottori/Kinosaki/Kobe?
