Is Ameyoko flea market open on 1st Jan 15

Hi I am going to Tokyo on 30th Dec 14 and planning to visit Ueno on 1st Jan 15.

Can anyone advise me whether Ameyoko flea market and shops open on 1st Jan 15.

Most shops/stores closed
bc large wholesale food market Tsukiji and others no open no deal until 4 Jan 2015.

Some no food stores open from 2 Jan but not so many.
