How long is the shelf life of Mentaiko?

Hi All! I love Mentaiko and I bought some from my previous travel to Japan, which was last week.I had some left overs, which is still a packet. Is it still ok to eat? I had in in our chiller for almost 10 days now!
Oh, too nice to throw at once!
Any ideas? Thank you!

If it is well kept, it should be alright for 14 days since you bought it.
If you have lots of mentaiko, wrap well each, then keep them in the refrigerator up to two months, defrost each mentaiko in the fridge. Do not use microwave for defrost.
