Decongestants for nose/throat 2015/1/30 11:49
I am new in Japan and sometimes get a sore throat from post-nasal drip (gross, I know!). What is a good over-the-counter decongestant, or medicine to dry up my nose so this stops happening? Thank you!

severe sore throat : consult medical doctor.

if you only concerns about nose: buy @, bien-yaku at drug stores, like this.

relieve sore throat : you may buy ɍ, chin-tuu-zai, pain-killer at drug stores. gargling is also useful.

many pharmaceutical company sell drugs for cold,ז,kaze-gusuri, in general use. those might help you.

wear a mask for others, and for yourself to protect your nose and throat from cold and dry air, as many Japanese are doing.

Thank you so much Ken! There are a ton of medicines at the pharmacy so it was hard to know which one is the best. I found it and just took my first one, fingers crossed it will do something!
