Visiting/Viewing Mount Fuji

Hello!
I have used the site (and still using) to plan my trip in Japan - It is great!
I'm going to travel to japan in april for about two weeks, and have used the "itinerary planner" in this site.
What I have noticed is there is no mentioning of Mount Fuji on either itinerary.
I really want to have a good view of Mount Fuji, but don't want to waste too much time traveling to a spot for exactly 20 minutes.
What do you suggest?
