Nakatsugawa station coin lockers

Hi everybody,
I'm going in Japan for the first time this year and I have a question about Nakatsugawa station, hoping that somebody can help me.
I'm going to leave Matsumoto in the morning to go to Nakatsugawa and then Nagome-Tsumago. After the trail I have to go back to Nakatsugawa and take the train again to go to Nagoya.
Are there large coin lockers at Nakatsugawa station so that I can leave my luggage in there?
Do you think that it's better to send the luggage directly in Nagoya with the takuhaibin service?

Nakatsugawa station layout map indicates there are coin lockers. A friend who had used the station says there are 3 different sizes of locker but he couldn't remember how many are there.
