JR and subway lines 2015/3/2 00:05
I have bought a JR pass and understand that i can only used it for JR lines
But if for example i need to travel to a place which i need to take a non JR trains then transfer to a JR train, can i still use the JR pass?
Do i need to buy a single ticket first for the non JR trains then at the transfer point use the JR pass?
Thank you

Yes, but only on the JR train. Not on the non-JR train.

You buy the ticket for the non-JR train when you transfer at the non-JR station. Or use an IC card (if possible).
