If I need to take a local bus from Jetty at Rishiri Island to the hotel that located at the southern end of the island, can I carry a 28 inches large luggage? Does the local come with luggage compartment to put our luggage ?

Soya bus cars are only regular type.

Have you ever stay at Rishiri or Rebun islands before? Any good hotel to recommend?
I saw from one of the chat showing a link to check on the weather and day light hours for this 2 islands, seem like in Autum and Winter the day light hour can be zero. I'm planning to going hiking at Rebun in Sep/Oct, would like to know is it really can be zero day light hour during that period.
