Kintetsu Rail Pass 2015/3/25 13:05
Please advise if I can buy this pass at Kansai airport on arrival and travel for Kansai to Kyoto. Should i buy the regular or wide?
Can i use the same pass to travel from Kyoto-Osaka-Nara/Kobe during the 5 day

Thank you

Kintetsu Railway doesn't run to Kobe, so Kintetsu Rail Pass doesn't necessarily save your money.
See Icoca & Haruka, Hankyu Ticket, Nankai Ticket.

Use Hyperdia.com.

There is a Limited Express from Kintetsu-Nara to Kobe Sannomiya (Hanshin). I wonder if this would do the original poster any good? Regular through-running through Kintetsu Namba started what, a year ago?

I doubt if a pass would cover it, unless a Kintetsu pass would work from Nara to Namba and a Hanshin ticket from Namba to Kobe. It sounds like complicated fun trying to figure it out.

I don't think so.

there are direct trains, kaisoku-kyuko. no need of seat reservation.

there are many direct trains through two or more different railway companies. you have to pay a combined fee.
for examples: from Umeda to Himeji with private companies.
Umeda - (Hanshin or Hankyu) - (Kobe-Kosoku) - (Sanyo) - Himeji. runs on three railway companies.
