Yufuin no Mori train question

Hello!

I would like to take the Yufuin no Mori train this May from Beppu to Hakata. I've read that the train doesn't come to Beppu, but when I searched online on JRKyushu's website it seems like it does. My Japanese is not the best, but am I reading this right? I am interested in the 2:41 train from Beppu.

However, when I search hyperdia and jourdan for the Yufuin no Mori 4 train, it only shows up as leaving from Yufuin. But, when I go into "Train Timetable" it shows that it does indeed come from Beppu.

Also, I imagine that tickets for this train get reserved very quickly (especially since I'm considering this trip during Golden Week x.x), and I am wondering how far in advance I can get my tickets for the train ride. I live in Japan, so I can go to a JR station.

Yes so but train name will be changing to LtdExp Yufu(特急ゆふ) after 8 May to 3 July.
平成27年3月2日〜6日、5月8日〜7月3日…「ゆふいんの森3・4号」は特急「ゆふ」で運転します。

平成27年 means this year 2015, 発 dep/着 arr, 別府 Beppu/湯布院 Yufuin

But GW reserving very hard usual except if be bad weather or large numbers group canceled.
Seat ticket sales start just one month before same date but no sales for out of Japan as online.

I am planning on taking the train on May 2nd, so it seems like it will still be Yufuin no Mori. But, that is also the Saturday before golden week, so I will go to the train station and try to reserve seats :)

It's difficult to make this train appear on Hyperdia because it is much slower than the Sonic, so Hyperdia will give higher priority to the latter. You can see it if you click "Interval timetable" to display all the trains which do the trip from Beppu to Hakata on that day (it leaves Beppu at 14:41).
