How to Get to Kurobe Gorge from Toyama

Hello,
How do I get to Kurobe Gorge from Toyama by shinkansen and trains. I am quite confused even after reading Japan Guide.
I have only 6 hours to spare and would like to travel by the fastest route. Hope someone can help.

The fastest way is usually to take the shinkansen from Toyama to Kurobe Unazuki Onsen Station and then the Toyama Chiho Railway to Unazuki Onsen Station at the entrance of the gorge. Alternatively, take a direct train along the Toyama Chiho Railway all the way from Toyama to Unazuki Onsen.

I do not think there is Shinkansen train to Kurobe gorge from Toyama.
The quickest way could be Toyama Chiho Railway from Toyama to Unazuki Onsen

For the shinkansen line, are you referring to the newly extended Hokuriku Line?
Could you tell me the station names to type in on Hyperdia for the fastest route?
There are so many similar names that I am afraid of getting them wrong.

Stand corrected, Uji is correct that the new Hokuriku Shinkansen stops @ UNAZUKIONSEN station.

From Kurobe-Unazukionsen, do I have to walk to another station to take another train to Unazuki?

Unazukionsen station is less than 5 min walk from Unazuki Station.
But I am not sure where the location of the new KUROBE-UNAZUKIONSEN shinkansen station is.

Looks like you need another train ride about 30 Min from the Kurobe-unazukionsen station to the unazukionsen station.

What I need is a step by step instruction on taking trains from station to station.

Here are the details:
From TOYAMA station take shinkansen train to KUROBE-UNAZUKIONSEN station; 10 Min walk to SHIN-KUROBE station and take Toyama Chiho train to UNAZUKIONSEN station, then less than 5 minute walk you arrive at UNAZUKI station.
